We're here to announce an important update regarding the Ethereum ecosystem, the deprecation of the Goerli Network, and its transition to Sepolia.
The Goerli testnet, which has been a vital component of the Ethereum development ecosystem, will no longer be supported or maintained by the Ethereum Foundation team. As we gear up for the transition from Goerli to Sepolia, it's important to note that support for Goerli across all networks, including Layer-2 networks that depend on Goerli will soon end. Major RPC providers have already initiated measures to discontinue their support. Consequently, BuildBear will terminate its support for the following test network from March 15th.

Arbitrum Goerli
Polygon Mumbai
Introducing Sepolia Testnet
Sepolia has already replaced Rinkeby and Kovan networks and now Goerli, offering a proof-of-authority testnet with higher efficiency, improved scalability, and lower transaction fees.
Users who are already using Goerli-based networks such as Ethereum Goerli can migrate to Ethereum Sepolia for development and testing needs. At present, we provide support for Ethereum Sepolia. However, we are actively working on expanding to other networks such as Arbitrum Sepolia and Polygon Amoy as alternatives to Arbitrum Goerli and Polygon Mumbai respectively.

We understand that this transition may pose some inconvenience for those who have been using the Goerli-based network. However, we advise shifting from Ethereum Goerli to Ethereum Sepolia. Stay tuned as we roll out support for additional Sepolia testnets in due course.
